MA Recordings Inner sleeves are exclusively made for MA Recordings in Japan from a high-tech blend of two polyethylene-based microfibers. Originally conceived as a modern alternative to the rice paper used in traditional Japanese room screens and window coverings, this material exhibits both tensile strength and, because of its porous characteristics, the ability to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew.

The 2 fibers are randomly woven together to create a material that is permeable and that does not trap in moisture, instead it “breathes out” the moisture. A super important characteristic for a vinyl record sleeve anywhere but especially in damp environments and in tropical, humid climates.
